So, I went to down load pictures and update the blog only to be told there are no pictures on the camera. Oops, I guess I better take some pics. In the meantime I thought I would do just an update on some of the things that have happened/been done. The first part of January brought with it a bunch of sickness. The boys and I all suffered through that nasty flu going around. They all healed up well, and I got was privileged to be the one to be sick for ever and to end up at the Doctor's office as my buy turned into a sinus infections. The boys really enjoyed the couple of days where I lost my voice. So glad those two weeks are behind us.
Levi has decided he is going to try to keep up with his two oldest brothers in the mess making department. When they were younger they were little mess monsters. The two most recent event involved butter and pee. First, Derek didn't flush the toilet after peeing in the middle of the night (even though he has been asked to only a thousand times) and then he left the bathroom door open. So early the next morning I see Levi come up from the basement waving a very wet sock around and himself being very wet. Not to very happy about that I tell the boys to close the bathroom door while I clean Levi up. At this point I only thought it was toilet water, not pee. A little later I went downstairs and opened up the bathroom/laundry room to do laundry and am hit by the gross smell of pee. Levi had made a huge mess. He had grabbed handfuls of clean laundry and dumped them in the toilet and then threw them all over the room. It was a huge mess. I ended up needing to rewash 3 loads of clean laundry. Needless to say I was not happy, and Derek had to scrub that bathroom.
The butter was a lot less messy and gross. The boys had been watching a movie the other evening while I read a book. So nice and quiet, to quiet. Nathan come to me and told me Levi had made a big mess in the kitchen. When I went to check on him he had pulled a cube of butter off the counter and spread it all over the floor and then realized he could skate on it. He was sliding all over that floor as happy as could be. It was so cute, and since my kitchen floor is so small it only took a few minutes to clean him and the mess.
All the boys are well. Derek loves school. Nathan and Daniel are getting along and becoming much better friends. We made valentine sugar cookies last week and the boys loved frosting it. I can't believe I have no pictures. Oh well. Nathan is a Star Wars boy and loves to watch it each day. It is the movie he would pick every day. Jordan is swamped with his two jobs. I am swamped with 5 boys to feed, clean up after, and to love. In fact they are pleading for food so I am off to cook pancakes and eggs for lunch.
