Today had been going great. I got a lot of the house cleaned. The boys had behaved. I even made bread and cookies. Then I left them downstairs while I checked e-mail 5-7 min. Bad idea. You think I would learn. Now there is whole cube of butter all over there clothes, the fridge, the floor, and other areas. What a mess.
On, the funny side. They were playing in there room today. I heard lots of laughing, and jumping. It was nice they were playing so well together. It was right before lunch. Jordan came home and we went to get them. Derek had fully undressed himself and was completely naked, and he mostly undressed Nathan. He couldn't figure out how to pull his shirt off. They were jumping on the bed, proud as could be with big smiles. It was pretty funny. At least there were no messes. Then it wouldn't have been as funny. What a day, and it isn't even 2:00 pm yet.

Good Days!!
Just so you don't all think my boys are always terrible we do have our good days. The worst thing they did today was pull wipes out and throw them all over the bedroom, and take my canned goods out. Not bad at all. Derek was extra cuddly today and we spend 30-40 min. cuddling together and being silly. I love it. Nathan has been very happy and bubbly today with lots of smiles, giggles, and cuddles. Wonderful. I do have great boys, just boys that can cause lots of havoc.

The Notties
So, I think I can post a daily blog about the good and the bad.
Derek and Nathan: Playing in there room yesterday, I forgot there was lotion in there so partly my fault, I check on them and they are eating the lotion. They ate a lot too, so that will make today's diapers yucky.
Derek: I'm cooking lunch. I have a knife out to cut up the left over roast beef. I set it down on top of the oven and go in to give Nathan some food. I return to the kitchen, knife is gone, and find Derek running away with it. He can reach anything and seeks knives out like candy. We are in trouble.
Derek: I was checking blogs and e-mail. I thought both boys were in there room. Wrong. I go looking for Derek and find him with my purse again. This time the mascara is everywhere, him the floor, all around, and completely broken, and destroyed. Now, I really need new mascara. I thought my purse was up high, guess not high enough.
Nathan: This morning I shut my bedroom door, but not quite enough, I am looking at the news for less then 3 min. and go to find the quite ones. Nathan is holing a piece of our new DVD player that I bought on Saturday. Not even a week and he broke it. This time it wont be replaced. No more movies for us.
This all happened within about 24-36 hours. Crazy. They can be good, though. Derek helped me make cookies yesterday. He really did a good job. He stirred and ate the dough. Smart kid. And Nathan, took a 2.5 hour nap. That is always nice.
If you are about to have your first boy, do not fear, my boys are worse then most. Many people tell me there whole clan aren't as rascally as mine. Lucky me.

No Camera
I haven't posted in a while because I can't take pictures. With the flash broken on our camera I can only take videos, unless we are outside, and with the cold that hasn't happened much. I need to down load the videos, but haven't taken the time. It takes to much time to upload them, and with my children a couple of minutes alone is to much. Case in point:
Derek and Kira: Kira eats a AA battery breaking it open. She drops it and Derek picks it up and sucks on it. Mom finds him like this. Oh boy. He starts saying "och" over and over. I call poison control. They say, it is just a burn, give him liquids and keep him comfortable. Nothing can be done. A few hours later he is back to normal.
Derek: I take the garbage out and come to get Derek and find him dumping my make-up out all over the floor.
Derek, Nathan, and Kira: I check e-mail and go looking for the quite ones and find them opening my purse, stuff dumped out, Kira eating my lipstick, and Derek and Nathan painted with Mascara.
Derek and Nathan: I completely check my downstairs for trouble. I fold up chairs, close cupboards, put things away, etc., just so I can go upstairs and place an order on Sam's Club.com to save lots of time when I head down there to go shopping. After 10 min. and lots of quite I go looking for them. Derek has learned a new trick and has got up on the counter by pulling open drawers(very hard old style drawers that I have trouble opening) he grabs a bottle of olive oil and pours it on the dog, floor, and my couch. What a mess.
Derek and Nathan: I need a break from them so I put them in my room watching a movie and after a few minutes I hear a crash. They had slid a chair over to the TV Stand, climbed on and pushed the TV off. Now our TV is dead.
Derek: Dad is holding him on his lap while we feed him at a friends house. Dad gets a fork jabbed right in his eye. Not good. Now, he has a red eye and even a read cut under his eye where the fork also hit. At least Derek did it on accident.
You may ask how long it took my boys to do all of this. It all happened in about the last ten days. They are full of energy and destruction. This is only some of the best from them. Just so you know they aren't always little monsters.
Nathan: this morning cuddled up to me and looked me right in the face grabbed my face with both hands and pulled me towards him for a big Nathan kiss. How sweet.
Derek: loves lotion. If I am putting it on he asks for some and sits there and rubs it on my legs. What a great kid.
Derek: loves horsey rides and giggles with great glee every time we give him one.
Nathan: Runs for Daddy with big smiles every time he comes home from work. He really loves his daddy.
