Derek Turns 9

For Derek's 9th birthday he was lucky enough to have Grandpa Yeager come to town(Grandma made it a day later.)  He also got to celebrate his birthday the same night as Pack Meeting where he earned his Wolf Badge.  We are so proud of the work he puts into scouting.  We love our loving, artsy, crafty, friendly, happy, boy.  

Nathan

Nathan was super excited for his 8th birthday because #1 he can now go to scouts, and #2 he was baptized.  He loves scouting and his scout leaders.  We had a special weekend with lots of family visiting.  Nathan earned his Bobcat on Thursday night during pack meeting.  Then on Saturday he had his special baptism day.  We are so grateful for our fun, loving, huggable, sportsy, outdoor, energetic, amazing boy.  

Halloween

Silver Lake--Fall Hike

We enjoyed a great family hike this fall.  We did a short hike around Silver Lake one Sunday evening.  The boys loved just strolling around and relaxing, unlike our usual hikes where we push ourselves to reach the end goal.  We choose to go up that evening also to enjoy seeing the Lunar Eclipse.  It was a great evening.  Nathan and I really enjoyed the eclipse.  The other boys decided it was to scary in the dark.  Jordan had to watch from the car while Nathan and I enjoyed some mommy/son time.

I kind of thought no one was looking at this blog any more.  But I got an e-mail from an Aunt of mine that told me how much she misses seeing picture of the boys.  So this a catch up post for her and anyone else who has missed us.
