Hair Help

I need hair advice. I have tons of it and it is really long. It is driving me crazy. So I want suggestions. I have thought of a perm and several people have told me "No, don't do it. It is out of style." While several others have said "Do it." If you haven't seen my hair in a while look back a few posts and there is a pic. of me and Jordan. It goes to the middle of my back so we have lots to work with. Here is where I need all of your help. Please, suggest ideas, or e-mail me(jordanlisafuller@yahoo.com) pictures of what you think would look nice. Send them all. I'm not afraid to try new things. I have had really short hair in the past, so trust me I will look at every idea. Then you can look back in January and see what I decided to do. Thanks so much.

OK, So the videos were to overwhelming and I will have to do this in two posts. But there isn't to much order so you can start where you want and enjoy.

I adopted Monkeys!!! This is one of Derek's less dangerous climbing acts. He has really started climbing anything and everything. One of these days I'm sure we will get stitches and/or a cast. But for now he has done great. He is pretty careful with his footing. Maybe we will just have a great climber who doesn't fall. Ya right!

I was doing dishes a couple of days ago and I hear Derek say "Stuck" I turn around and Derek has a water pitcher stuck on his head. How funny. I had to grab the camera. I couldn't help till I got the picture and it turns out he didn't need help in the end. What a sweet little guy.

All I can say is I'm so glad the Jello was dry. Derek asked the dog for help to open it. When I found him they were both licking it up. Derek makes a very good puppy.

We Are Back

My Apologies upfront for this very long post. We lost our download cord, up until today, and instead of doing a lot of posts I am just going to do one very long one. There will be lots of video. Our camera's flash has gone out and it wont take pictures indoors or in low lighting. We need to get that fixed or get a new one. But you all get to see tons of video of our cute boys. So here goes and ENJOY!!!!

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! If you don't know all ready it has been snowing like crazy in Iowa and around. The boys love being outside, but don't get to very often because of freezing temps. With windchill we are often -25. That is really cold. This weekend we could see -40 with windchill. But we do go out and here are some pictures and videos.

Just so you know, I bought them gloves the next day and we were only out a few minutes. So, don't worry there hands were fine. Grandma Fuller came for a visit and taught them how yummy snow was. They now love it.

The Video below is one where you can see our new dog, Kira. She is a Siberian Husky/Shepard Mix. She is lots of fun. She loves the snow and will play in it all day if we let her. This is a snow storm walk. I look pretty funny, but it was a lot of fun. The boys really enjoy her. She was an early Christmas present for them.

We went for a walk as a family in the Snow to the Library. The boys loved it. Isn't Nathan cute with his new walking skills?

Derek really loves Kira. He had so much fun the other night playing with her, as you can see. It is really fun when he tries to play and she pulls him around. This time she was content to sit and let him do the pulling.

The following videos are off the sill mischievous things the boys have been up to. The one right below is off them taking a bath fully clothed. The video speaks for its self. Lucky for Mom they didn't drown. We thought the door was shut, but it wasn't. The tub was left full because we have no shower and Jordan left it for me to bath them in, thus saving all that water. But I had decided I wasn't in the mood to fight the both of them so I was going to do it in the evening with Daddy. I didn't realize Jordan hadn't drained the tub when he left for work. Oh well.

Where'd we move?

From my last post, someone caught that we had moved, but that I failed to mention where. We are still in the same town, just in a bit bigger house. OK, a lot bigger house. It is great to have the space. But we haven't left town, and don't plan to for a long time.

No Pics

Hi Everyone,

Since our last move about 4 weeks ago I can't find our cord to down load pictures from our Camera. Very sad. I am beginning to think I will need to buy a new one. So, because there are no pics, I thought I would just let you know we are still here and busy. We went to Jordan's brother's place for Thanksgiving. We had lots of fun. Jordan' mom came to our place for a few days and then drove up with us and spent a few days with them. It was great to have her here. Especially since we ended up moving. I don't know how we would have done it without Mom. "Thanks a bunch, Mom"

We enjoy our new house. We have added another family member. Don't get to excited, it is our Dog, Kira. She is a husky/Shepard mix, and lots of fun. The boys have been busy as usual. Nathan is walking/running everywhere now. It is so cute. They are both full of mischief as usual. When I can post videos you will get to see some of it. It has been very cold here with highs of 4 degrees. With the windchill it is -25 below. That is to cold. We have lots of snow, which I am enjoying. It makes everything white and clean. Well, I will catch you all up soon. I hope to find that cord or buy one by this weekend.

Derek's Birthday

This is Derek's B-day cake. It is a chocolate cake with cream cheese swirled in it. Because of the cream cheese we didn't do frosting. He loved all the fish and turtles.

Daddy's Little Helpers

Here is a great video of Daddy and his boys. They love to be little helpers. It is amazing how much help they can actually be when we let them. Derek loves to throw things away. Give him a garbage sack and point out the garbage and away he goes.

Nathan's Birthday

Here is a picture of Nathan's cake. The boys love fish so I did a fish cake. As you can see I worked really hard. I want to learn how to decorate cakes, but that will have to come later. You would think with all my cooking I would know how to do that. Oh well. Here is a video of the birthday boy!!! xz

Caterpillars and Stars

Here is some cute stuff from Derek:

Caterpillars: Derek and I found a Caterpillar the other day. I fuzzy little black and orange one. I showed him to Derek. I was worried he would squish it, but he surprised me. I let it crawl on his arm. He loved it. The Caterpillar would lift its little head and look around. I told Derek it wants to kiss him. Derek tried to kiss it but couldn't reach it. When it got back on my arm Derek gently leaned over and gave it a kiss as gentle as a butterfly. He touched it very gently and then helped me take it outside and told it bye bye. Isn't he sweet. I couldn't believe how gentle he was.

Stars: The other night we came home from church at 7:00 pm, yes 7:00 pm. We spend all day at church now that Jordan is in the Bishopric. I took Nathan in who was asleep. Jordan came in a couple of minutes later smiling and said "I love this boy. He is a man after my own heart" I asked what he was talking about. He said he took Derek out of the car and he looked up and saw the stars and started going on and on. He keep saying Stars and Oh Ah!!! We went back out and he was in love with the stars. It was so sweet. I only wished we lived by the mountains were we could go camping and really see the stars. He is a boy after our own hearts. What a kid.

And not to leave Nathan out, he has 3 teeth and the 4th on the way. He loves to talk gibberish. He is full of laughs and smiles. He hasn't been cuddly at all until the last week or so. He has curled up with me watching movie and has fallen asleep with his head on my chest. I just love holding him. He has always been such a wiggle worm who feel asleep only in his bed. He will also hold still and cuddle for a couple of minutes when I hold him.

Time Out For Women

I wanted to tell all of you how wonderful Time Out For Women(TOFW) is. For those of you who don't know what this is it is a program sponsored by Desert Book. You can find info. on there web page. It is a two day event that women can come to that is full of uplifting music and speakers. I attended one a couple of weeks ago in Omaha and it was wonderful. There were people there like, Jenny Oaks Baker, Kennith Cope, Cherie Call, Mary Ellen Edmund's, and others. I don't have the list of names in front of me It was a great uplifting event. It was nice to get a break from my kids. THANKS HUBBY!!!! It was nice to hear good music, visit with friend, listen to uplifting speakers, and get to know ladies in our ward better. It was great. It is well worth the money. I would encourage all of you to look into going sometime next year. They hold them all over the country. Go, and enjoy it.

Also, Jeny Oaks Baker is Elder Oaks daughter and she is wonderful. If you like violin music and classsical musical go get her CD's. Her program was the best part of the show for me.

Family Birthday Trip

We took a trip to Des Moines this Saturday to celebrate the boy's birthdays. We went to the Botanical Gardens and to the Halloween Party at Living History farms. We also went out to eat which Mom really enjoyed. No Dishes!!! The boy's favorite part was the gardens. They didn't really like the stuff at Living History Farms. Jordan and I also think it was a waste of time and money, so we wouldn't recommend you going. It may be fun for there regular tours, but just the Halloween stuff wasn't very good. But we still had a great time out with our little men. Look its Pooh Bear and Super Man

Derek and Nathans favorite part the fish and turtles. Derek loves the Nemo movie and fish so he really enjoyed the ponds at the gardens full of fish and turtles.

Prayer

Derek decided he would humor us at the dinner table. We have been keeping his plate of food out of his reach so he will learn to wait for prayer. It has been working well. Tonight he decided he didn't like the plan. Jordan kept saying fold your arms it's time for prayer.

Derek just looked at him and said "NO NO NO!" We tried not to laugh. Jordan went ahead and said the prayer. After a few seconds Derek started saying "Bye Bye" Bye Bye" I guess he wanted us to be done. He was very happy when he got his food, and we had a good chuckle.

Beautiful

We spent Saturday in Des Monies for a family time out. It was lots of fun. I will post family pictures later, but first I wanted to post some pictures I got of some flowers at the Botanical Gardens. It was very relaxing and enjoyable for all 4 of us, even the boys loved it. I hope you enjoy the beautiful pictures below. I love nature and God's creations.

Hair Cuts

We did hair cuts tonight. It was Derek's 3rd, and Nathans 1st. Neither of them liked it, but we got it done. Jordan did Derek's hair, and I did Nathan's hair. We think they turned out pretty good.

Bishopric

Jordan was called as the 1st Councilor in the Bishopric this last Sunday in our ward, Ft. Dodge. He is humbled and glad he is able to serve, so am I, but I admit it was a hard calling for me. It means there will be more time away from us, and since we are down to 1 car it means early Sunday morning meetings for all us. Lucky us. But, with the Lord by our sides I know it will all work out for our greater good. I need to be faithful like my husband and know we will be blessed. Jordan's Dad was able to come out for the weekend to be with Jordan.
His brother, Dean, was also able to come. We had an enjoyable time having both of them, even though it was short visit. We appreciate them coming very much.

Our Little Heros

Computer Crashes

Hi All,

It may be a little while before we can post photos. Our computer contracted a virus or worm or both. It is going to the doctor this week in hopes of being fixed. It is pretty messed up. Norton tried to stop all the incoming stuff, but became overwhelmed. Hopefully things are fixed fairly easily. We don't want to buy a new computer or worse loose all our info. on our computer. We are all doing well. Nathan will be 1 in two weeks and Derek will be 2 in four weeks. Can you believe it? We can't. They are as cute and mischievous as ever. We will post more cute pictures of them when we can.

Nathan

These are some photos I snapped of Nathan. I played around with them and edited them. They are in the late evening so it was hard to get a good picture with the lack of light and our camera. But I got a few. Nathan's hair looks like the over grown grass in our yard.

Like Father, Like Son

Derek always likes to be daddy's little helper. I took a group of these photos for fun and noticed how similar they looked in there stances as they walked side by side. Jordan is a trooper mowing the yard with one hand. Luckily for him Derek tired of helping after a few minutes.

This is Derek on a Bull ride. He loves Daddy to give horsey and bull rides.

This is a video of Derek in his new bed. He loves it. We picked it up at a garage sale. He has done great in the transition. He sleeps well in it and goes to bed really well too. He really likes it that it now has Spider Man sheets. He had his choice between Spider Man and Cars and Spider Man is what he choose. This video also shows how small there room is. What you see is all that is there.

Sunday Afternoon
